7-Day Mafia & Pemba Diving

Per person, land only. Park fees included where noted.

Day 1 — Dar es Salaam to Mafia. Short flight. Afternoon check dive in Chole Bay.

Days 2–3 — Mafia. Diving the marine park’s coral gardens and walls. In season (roughly October to March) snorkelling with the resident whale sharks in Kilindoni Bay — unlike most aggregation sites, Mafia’s are largely resident rather than migratory.

Day 4 — Mafia to Pemba. Flight north via Zanzibar. Afternoon at leisure.

Days 5–6 — Pemba. Wall diving in the Pemba Channel, where the reef drops away steeply very close to shore. Misali Island conservation area for reefs in outstanding condition and turtle nesting beaches.

Day 7 — Departure. Morning dive if the flight allows, then transfer out.
